Live! Casino & Hotel Names Renee Lucas As Pastry Chef At The Top Zagat-rated Steakhouse - The Prime Rib

HANOVER, Md. (April 24, 2017) -- Live! Casino & Hotel today announced Reneé Lucas will serve as the new Pastry Chef for the Zagat-rated #1 steakhouse, The Prime Rib. Her appointment marks a return to Live!, where she previously demonstrated her passion for desserts and pastries at The Prime Rib, as well as her culinary talent at Live! Buffet.

Already in her new role, Chef Lucas has single handedly created a brand-new dessert menu for the restaurant, featuring delicacies such as Citrus Chiffon Cake with Brandy Peaches, and Coconut Vanilla Panna Cotta with Tropical Fruit Gelee. Lucas will continue to develop the foundation for a creative and innovative pastry department to take Live! Casino & Hotel into the future. She will also work with Director of Culinary Operations Chef Edward Evans and Prime Rib Chef de Cuisine Eric Littlejohn to lead the management and growth of Live!'s culinary team.

Prior to rejoining the Live! team, Lucas served as Executive Chef at Twains Tavern in Pasadena, MD. She previously worked as the Lead Cook at the Charlestown Community Center in Catonsville, MD.

Lucas graduated from Le Cordon Bleu, a culinary arts institute that has given rise to notable female chefs including Giada De Laurentiis, Julia Child and Sandra Lee.
