Baltimore Innovation Week's Sept. 25 kickoff is all about food trucks and fun tech

Technical.ly Baltimore

We’re officially less than two months away until our fourth-annual Baltimore Innovation Week, happening Sept. 25-Oct. 3. For the past few years, we’ve partnered with The Gathering for a kickoff festival filled with food trucks, live music and great outdoor venues.

This year, on Friday, Sept. 25, our #BIW15 kickoff will be at Power Plant Live! And, on top of the delicious food and great music, Technical.ly will be bringing out over 10 innovative and fun makerspaces, robotics groups, game developers and more for attendees to check out!

It will be a version of our App Arcade event that you may have seen in our previous Innovation Celebration closing parties. Picture yourself checking out how a 3D printer works, getting to maneuver robots, seeing drones fly and playing with video games that have been developed right in your neighborhood. The family-friendly event is great for kids, and the young at heart.

Interested in being considered for a table at the kickoff? Fill out our Demo Interest Form and let us know the awesome tech you would bring out.

Before the kickoff event, Technical.ly will also organize an Innovation Crawl, a chance to check out a few local tech startups and innovative organizations that will be opening their doors to a small group of enthusiasts. Be on the look out for more info about that event on
