Lumos Networks will be Waterside District's presenting sponsor
Norfolk’s Waterside District on March 23 announced Lumos Networks Corp. will be a presenting sponsor of the soon-to-reopen dining and entertainment complex.
Sponsorship elements will include promotions of entertainment and events, along with digital and fixed signage, the companies said in a news release. Lumos will be the presenting sponsor for entertainment-driven events, as well as a technology partner. The stage where entertainment will be featured will have the designation “Powered by Lumos Networks.”
Waterside District is slated to open in May. It will feature family friendly attractions and nightlife, along with local, regional and national restaurants, music and festivals. Lumos Networks is headquartered in Virginia and recently expanded into the Hampton Roads market.
“We are proud to partner with Lumos Networks, a respected leader in their industry and the region,” said Glenn Sutch, president of Waterside District. “The Cordish Companies, Waterside District and Lumos Networks all share a strong commitment to the Hampton Roads market, and we look forward to making Waterside District powered by Lumos Networks something really special for the community and visitors alike.”
A spokeswoman said Waterside District sponsorships are available in other categories. Waterside and Lumos declined to share the financial value or time frame of the agreement.
