Scott Credit Union Opens First Downtown Location in Ballpark Village
ST. LOUIS, MO (July 29, 2020) – Ballpark Village is excited to announce the opening of its latest tenant, Scott Credit Union. Located at the base of The PwC Pennant Building at the corner of 8th Street and Cardinal Way, Scott Credit Union is the first retail tenant to join the new office building which opened in Q4 of 2019 as part of the second phase expansion of Ballpark Village.“We’re thrilled to welcome our long-time partners from Scott Credit Union to downtown St. Louis,” said Thane vanBreusegen, Vice President, Corporate Sales, Marketing & Stadium Entertainment for the St. Louis Cardinals. “We appreciate their partnership and commitment to the neighborhood.”
The 1,200-square-foot location places Scott Credit Union in the heart of one of the most unique developments in professional sports. The Scott Credit Union Ballpark Village location will be a full-service branch that will be open extended hours to best serve people who are visiting Ballpark Village. The location also will be equipped with a walk-up ATM that is available from outside the branch during off hours, and office space to allow our staff to meet with members when they need consultation about home loans or investments.

The branch’s design and visibility will go a long way to creating brand awareness for SCU in the Missouri market. The Scott Credit Union Ballpark Village location will be a high-tech marketing showcase with a digital display wall, Interactive Teller Machines, and conversation spaces. The location will feature friendly and energetic Member Engagement Specialists to assist members with their banking needs. They will be available to engage with our members and assist them with their banking needs.

Construction has continued on the neighborhood’s Phase Two expansion, including the One Cardinal Way residential tower which will open August 1. The expansion of Ballpark Village has added more than 700,000 square feet of dining, entertainment, hotel, office, residential, retail and lifestyle amenities to downtown St. Louis.
