A New Business Fair Aims to Connect Minority Business Owners with Larger Corporations

Metro Council President David Tandy and Fourth Street Live owner The Cordish Cos. are teaming up to hold a business fair that will connect small businesses owned by minorities and women with larger corporations.

 

The first-ever Louisville Metro Diverse Business Fair is set for 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Oct. 13, at Fourth Street Live, The Courier-Journal reports.

The fair is being supported by several community partners, such as Norton Healthcare, Brown-Forman and the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau, the story said.

Businesses that wish to participate in the free event must be certified with the Metro Human Rights Commission or in the process of completing the certification, the story said.
