Maryland Live! Casino's First 100 Slot Machines Arrive
The first 100 slot machines arrived on Wednesday at Maryland Live Casino, the $500 million entertainment complex set to open in June near Arundel Mills mall.
Workers unloaded the machines and moved them into the casino, where the installation process started.
The slots were purchased by the state from manufacturers including Bally’s, IGT, WMS, Konami and Stielo.
The casino will include slots games such as Monopoly, Wheel of Fortune, Sex and the City, Wizard of Oz and Hot Shots. Quick hits and progressive machines, as well as electronic table games like blackjack, roulette, mini−baccarat and pai gow poker will be featured.
The casino is set to be the state’s largest slots parlor with 4,750 machines. The first phase of the Cordish Cos. project will open with between 2,500 and 3,000 slot machines.
