Maryland Live! Casino Construction On Schedule

Construction of the Maryland Live! Casino at Arundel Mills is on schedule and on track to open its first phase in June 2012 as planned. The $500 million project, constructed by Commercial Interiors/TN Ward, is one of the largest construction projects in the state of Maryland, employing approximately 2,500 workers, with the gaming and entertainment facility employing approximately 1,500 permanent staff. Since its ground breaking in January, the complex has foundations, pre-cast concrete and steel erection in process on the nearly 12 acre lot. Maryland Live! Casino will encompass over 330,000 square feet of gaming floor, restaurants, performance venues, bars and support space and host 4,750 Vegas-style slot machines.
