The Daily Record Unveils Influential Marylander Honorees
The Daily Record today announced its 2015 Influential Marylanders honorees. The winners will be recognized March 26 at a reception at The Grand Lodge in Cockeysville. Fifty-one of Maryland’s top leaders were selected by the editors of The Daily Record for their leadership and significant contributions to the fields of civic leadership, communications, education, finance, freestyle, general business, health care, law, philanthropy, real estate and technology. Elected leaders are not eligible for this award because they are by nature influential. The Daily Record launched the Influential Marylanders award in 2006. This year, James Kennedy, of T. Rowe Price, and Dr. Kevin Manning, of Stevenson University, were named to the Circle of Influence. Honorees who have been selected for the third and final time join the Circle of Influence. “The 51 individuals being recognized this year as Influential Marylanders stand out above others in their industries. They are influencing the business community, the state and often beyond,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher of The Daily Record. “What they say is important, and what they do makes a difference in the lives of many Marylanders. The Daily Record is pleased to honor them.”
