The Cordish Companies Provides Financing to St. Louis's Contractor Loan Fund
CLF is a coalition of local governments, non-profit organizations, and private sector businesses committed to build a more inclusive St. Louis region. CLF partners have pooled their financial and business resources to make loans to minority and women owned businesses. Certified minority and women-owned business enterprises are able to apply for a loan of up to $1 million from the Fund, which has a pool of $10 million in total capital.
"When we were presented with the chance to invest in the Contractor Loan Fund, it was an instant yes," said The Cordish Companies Senior Vice President Chase Martin. "The work of the Fund is 100% consistent with our company’s values, and our long history of working with minority and women-owned businesses throughout the construction and operation of our projects nation-wide.”
The CLF began operations this summer, and is currently accepting applications for loans.
