Ballpark Village and Together Credit Union Announce Title Sponsorship of the Newly Completed Outdoor Plaza at Ballpark Village
Plaza is the centerpiece of phase 2 of development and will be a downtown gathering place for the community
St. Louis, MO (July 17, 2020) – Ballpark Village, the dynamic dining and entertainment district and vibrant, growing neighborhood adjacent to Busch Stadium in downtown St. Louis, announced today a strategic partnership with Together Credit Union for Title Sponsorship of the newly completed Plaza at Ballpark Village. A centerpiece of the phase 2 of development, Together Credit Union Plaza comprises nearly 40,000 square feet of outdoor public gathering space framed by Busch Stadium, OneLife Fitness, Sports & Social St. Louis, Live! by Loews – St. Louis and Phase 1 dining and entertainment venues along Clark Street.
“At Together Credit Union, finding opportunities to build connections in our community by bringing people together is a key part of our culture. The Together Credit Union Plaza at Ballpark Village is the perfect place for bringing this vision to life,” said Paula Anderson, VP – Corporate Strategy & Brand from Together Credit Union. “While we currently aren’t gathering in ways we once did, we are confident Together Credit Union Plaza will soon become the premier gathering point downtown for sporting and entertainment events and we are proud to be a partner in this effort.”
Together Credit Union Plaza incorporates existing Ballpark Village features, including the outdoor Busch II Infield, as well as the newly expanded Missouri Lottery Stage and a 15’ illuminated “STL” Cardinals Logo. A giant LED screen above the stage will air Cardinals games and other live sports and entertainment events throughout the year. Potential capacity for the space (when circumstances allow) is 4,000 people, directly across from Busch Stadium, conveniently accessible for fans and event goers to gather, with and without tickets.. The Plaza currently features tabled seating for over 300 guests, as well as other welcoming built-in seating and viewing areas throughout the perimeter. Food and beverage service will be available in the Plaza from the newly opened Sports and Social St. Louis and satellite food and beverage stations.
“Together Credit Union Plaza is an exciting addition to Ballpark Village. It was important for us to complete this critical fan-experience component of our phase 2 expansion in time for the start of the Cardinals’ season,” said Mike LaMartina, Chief Revenue Officer for Ballpark Village. “This new centerpiece of Ballpark Village will be an important gathering place for the community for events and activities throughout the year. We couldn’t ask for a better community partner than Together Credit Union to bring our new space to life.”
