Popular national dining and entertainment concept offers upscale food and beverage, one-of-a-kind sports viewing, and social experience next to PPL Center
ALLENTOWN, Pa., April 28, 2022 – Sports & Social, the nationally acclaimed dining and entertainment concept, celebrated the grand opening of its downtown Allentown location on Center Square with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, where speakers included Sen. Pat Browne, Allentown Mayor Matt Tuerk, COO of Live! Dining & Entertainment Scott Steenrod, and President of City Center Investment Corp. J.B. Reilly. Sports & Social Allentown brings upscale food and beverage, one-of-a-kind sports viewing, and a unique social experience to the ground floor of the Two City Center building at 645 Hamilton St., across 7 th Street from PPL Center arena.

Today’s grand opening of Sports & Social Allentown is another great milestone in our downtown’s reactivation.
” Sports & Social Allentown provides made-from-scratch, elevated versions of gameday favorites like nachos and wings, curated cocktails and specialty drinks, and a beer selection of national brews and local favorites from Bru Daddy’s Brewing Company and Fegley’s Brew Works. Salads, sandwiches, bowls, and entrees round out the menu. The venue also offers a can’t-miss brunch experience on Saturdays and Sundays, featuring its famous #brunchtails table drinks and menu favorites like avocado toast, savory breakfast skillets, and its signature Chicken & Bliss. The 8,000-square-foot space features a variety of live music and special events throughout the week, including one of the best sports watching experiences in the region with its premier game-day Sports Watch activations. Outfitted with state-of-the-art AV technology throughout the venue, the space boasts an impressive 25-foot LED display at its centerpiece that allows guests to enjoy multiple games and sporting events at once.
Guests can also enjoy a wide variety of social games, including skee-ball, foosball, pop-a-shot, arcade games and Beirut. The Allentown location’s dog-friendly outdoor patio on Center Square features Sports & Social’s signature Crush Bar, offering a large selection of specialty crush drinks, and provides an incredible setting for al fresco dining. Sports & Social Allentown was uniquely designed by internationally acclaimed Knauer Incorporated, which has created some of country’s top destinations in dining, hospitality, and entertainment. The new location has brought more than 100 jobs to downtown Allentown.
