Bass Pro Shops Opens in Atlantic City with Celebrity Appearances, Thousand of Visitors Enjoy Evening for Conservation Event and Ribbon Cutting
Atlantic City, NJ. – Bass Pro Shop and The Cordish Companies proudly announce the opening of a world-renowned Bass Pro retail store in Atlantic City, NJ. The 85,451 square-foot store, the fourth phase and capstone of The Cordish Companies’ Walk development, is located at 30 N. Christopher Columbus Boulevard, and offers the area’s largest selection of quality gear for fishing, hunting, camping, boating and marine. Bass Pro now joins seven city blocks and approximately 600,000 of the country’s leading brands including the like of Polo, Coach, Nike and Tommy Hilfiger developed by the Cordish Companies over the past decade.
To celebrate the opening, the Atlantic City Bass Pro hosted a ceremonial ribbon-cutting as well as a starstudded Evening for Conservation event on Wednesday, April 15. The event, hosted by professional angler and TV host Jimmy Houston, featured Bass Pro Founder Johnny Morris, Blake Cordish, Governor Christie, and celebrity appearances including Tony Stewart, Martin Truex, Brian Westbrook, Kevin VanDam and more. For every dollar spent at the store during the Evening for Conservation, 50 cents will
be donated to the New Jersey Wild Outdoor Expo, Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey, and Wonders of Wildlife, The American National Fish and Wildlife Museum.
