In partnership with Comcast Spectacor and The Comcast Corporation, The Cordish Companies developed XFINITY Live! in the heart of South Philadelphia’s Sports Complex, the only single location in North America to house all four major professional sports teams (Eagles, Phillies, 76’ers and Flyers).
Xfinity partnered with The Cordish Companies to launch its brand as a part of the first Live! district in Philadelphia. In the middle of the sports and entertainment complex, Xfinity Live! provided the perfect opportunity for Xfinity to get in the middle of the action and have their brand showcased.
At the heart of Ballpark Village is one of The Cordish Companies most successful Live! districts, FOX Sports Midwest Live!. This venue, sponsored by FOX Sports, is a year-round central gathering place and plaza featuring a stage for live concerts and performances, a state-of-the-art 40-foot high definition LED screen, a 200-seat restaurant and a VIP seating area – all under a 100-foot long retractable glass roof.
Guy Fieri’s Smokehouse is a dining concept from the award-winning chef, restaurateur, author, TV personality, and American Royal BBQ Hall of Fame inductee. This flagship location of Guy Fieri’s Smokehouse at Fourth Street Live features 6,700 square feet of dining space, a 2,200-square-foot outdoor patio, a large smoker custom made by Ole Hickory, and an indoor/outdoor bar. Based on its success, a second Guy Fieri’s Smokehouse opened at The Cordish Companies’ Waterside District.
Together, The Cordish Companies and Hard Rock Café developed two Hard Rock-themed hotels and casinos in Hollywood and Tampa, Florida. These projects, which were the first Hard Rock hotels and casinos in the United States outside of Las Vegas, consistently rank among the top performing casinos in the world and are two of the largest gaming, retail and entertainment destinations in the country.
The Cordish Companies partnered with Leinenkugel Brewing Company to open the flagship location for Leinenkugel’s Beer Garden in Power Plant Live!. Offering over 30 draft beers, 30 bottles and a menu ideal for sharing, Leinenkugel’s Beer Garden consists of a 2500 square feet steel and glass pavilion and 200 square feet of outdoor space, all located near the entrance of Power Plant Live!. The partnership has continued to grow as the team opened Leinenkugel’s KC in the Power & Light District.
Sponsored by NBC Sports, The Cordish Companies developed the first ever NBC Sports Arena in the center of XFINITY Live! in Philadelphia, PA. This sports-anchored venue features one of the largest and most spectacular indoor television screens in the nation.
Professional Bull Riders, the world’s premier bull riding organization, partnered with The Cordish Companies to open PBR bars in major cities across the country, allowing the organization to extend its brand into dining and nightlife. Locations of this high-energy venue include Baltimore, MD; Hampton, VA; Louisville, KY; Philadelphia, PA; St. Louis, MO; Kansas City, MO; Norfolk, VA; Arlington, TX and Atlanta, GA. The venue has a “cool country” design, featuring festive decor, multiple bars, ample service space, a large dance floor and a mechanical bull.
Sporting Kansas City and The Cordish Companies proudly partnered to develop a new flagship entertainment concept in the Kansas City Power & Light District called No Other Pub. Designed to be a “playground” for millennials, No Other Pub showcases a social lounge with a comprehensive selection of every local craft beer and spirit made in Kansas City; a gaming parlor with bowling, golf simulators, table tennis, shuffleboard, foosball and darts; and an expansive sports bar, making it the premier destination to watch sporting events in Kansas City.
The St. Louis Blues and Ballpark Village have created a long term partnership to give Blues fans a clubhouse and venue to celebrate their team. A series of in-season and out-of-season events and programs in the home of St. Louis sports, allows Blues fans and corporate partners to always be in the center of the action.
Developed in a 50/50 partnership with the St. Louis Cardinals, Ballpark Village is located in the heart of St. Louis’s central business district and directly next to Busch Stadium. Ballpark Village is the premier dining and entertainment district in the region and is currently in its second phase of development.
The Cordish Companies was selected by the Texas Rangers as development partner for Texas Live!, a 200,000 square foot world-class dining and entertainment district, as well as a 300-room hotel and 35,000 square foot convention facility. Texas Live! is located directly between the Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Park in Arlington and the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium.
